Daniel F. Cates
Dan Cates is a graduate of the Memphis School of Preaching and of Amridge University [B.A.; M.A.]. He preaches for the Independence Church of Christ since 1999 and serves as one her elders. He is also an instructor in the Memphis School of Preaching since 1999 and serves as Dean of Communications. He and Shelly have two children: Maggie and Conor.
Keith A. Mosher, Sr.
Keith A. Mosher, Sr. was born in Waterford, Pennsylvania. An alumnus (1975) of the Memphis School of Preaching, he returned in 1978 to begin part-time, and in 1984 to full-time teaching.
Brother Mosher served in the United States Navy and received his early education at Cleveland State University and the University of Louisville. He and his wife, Dorothy Carol, have been married since 1961, and have three children. The Moshers enrolled in Memphis School of Preaching in 1973 from which he graduated as Outstanding Student in 1975. Since then, brother Mosher has earned the Bachelor of Arts, the Master of Arts, and the Master of Theology degrees from Amridge University. He earned the Doctor of Ministry from Harding Graduate School of Religion in 1990. Brother Mosher conducts personal work workshops and workshops on humanism, marriage, the book of Daniel, and teachers. He has written several books, tracts, and articles. He is also an adjunct professor at Amridge University.
Melvin L. Otey has served as an Associate Professor of Law at Faulkner University, Jones School of Law, since August 2014. Prior to this, he worked for the US Department of Justice in Washington, DC, as a trial lawyer (2000-2003, 2007-2014) and preached for the Georgia Avenue congregation in DC (2006-2014). Presently, he writes for Christian publications and conducts Gospel meetings, lectures and seminars. Melvin received formal education from St. Louis University (BS in Business Administration, 1997), Howard University School of Law (JD, 2000), and Amridge University (BS in Ministry/Bible, 2008; MDiv in Ministerial Leadership, 2014). He and his wife, Jania, have two sons, Caleb and Christian. The family worships and works with the Dalraida congregation in Montgomery, AL.
Donald has been preaching since he became a Christian in November 1977. He has taught and/or baptized someone every year that he has been a Christian. He has directed and led several evangelistic efforts nationally and internationally. Donald has over 39 years of missionary and evangelism experience and over 37 years of door to door work. Don has publicly debated a Baptist preacher concerning how one is converted or saved. He is a former instructor with OABS. He labors with the Lemon Grove congregation in the San Diego metro area. He has written and designed several teaching brochures, tracts, door to door material, and a six Bible correspondence. He has designed a four part Bible study series to help people to better understand the Scriptures, along with his numerous one step studies to teach people God’s word. Don has written two books of poetry as well. He holds a Masters of Science in International Relations, Masters Certificate in Education, Bachelors of Science in Social Science, Bachelors Certificate in Education, and an Associates of Science in Business Administration.
